Future developments for decentralised automation solutions are portrayed in the interior of the large-format module. The changes taking place to the well-known automation pyramid with its hierarchical networks through to independent, distributed networks communicating with one another in all directions are on view. Prototypes embracing the theme as well as models of products from the field of electrical connection technology and functional electronics complement this glimpse into the future. Ideas for increasing productivity in the construction of electrical cabinets as well as for intelligent terminals, hybrid connectors and communication products from the business unit 'Functional Electronics' all go towards rounding off the insight into the future. Last, but no least, the business unit 'Communication Electronics' presents ideas on networks of the future in which network functions are realised in intelligent devices in the field.
Dr. Joachim Belz, spokesperson for the board of the Weidmüller group "With the module 'future. made by Weidmüller' we are creating a 'Future Zone' at a central point of our trade fair stand in which we look over the horizon of our daily business lives and express our current thinking on present-day and future trends in decentralised automation, offer food for thought as well as demonstrate solutions and concepts for the future. Weidmüller is pursuing a long-term strategy in its approach to these topics, well-supported by numerous, very tangible solutions, prototypes and first models for series production. We are presenting these publicly for the first time in the 'Future Zone'. We look forward to interesting discussions and a creative exchange of views with out customers."
Key word: 'future. made by Weidmüller'.
