Weidmüller präsentiert seine neuen Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switches während der Hannover Messe auf seinem Messestand in Halle 11, Stand B 60 vom 04.04.2011 bis 08.04.2011
Weidmüller bietet drei neue Produktfamilien für Switches an - Basic Line, Value Line und Premium Line - und deckt damit alle Kommunikations-Anforderungen im industriellen Umfeld ab. Die neuen Managed Gigabit-Switches von Weidmüller der Produktfamilie Premium Line sind für den High-End Bereich konzipiert: Sie verfügen über erweiterte Management- sowie Sicherheitsfunktionen und eignen sich damit für anspruchsvolle Netzwerklösungen. Die Geräte sind mit Gigabit Ethernet oder Fast Ethernet Ports lieferbar. Eine Variante ist mit Fast Ethernet und Power-over-Ethernet Ports ausgerüstet. Dank ihrer Ringredundanz- Technologie (Wiederherstellungszeit ? 20 ms), erhöhen diese Geräte die Zuverlässigkeit und Verfügbarkeit von industriellen Netzwerken. Gigabit-Varianten erlauben den Einsatz in Netzwerken mit hohem Kommunikationsaufkommen und optionale SFP-Transceiver bieten ein hohes Maß an Flexibilität. Damit sind Gigabit Ethernet Switches sowohl für kommunikationsintensive Anwendungen in verzweigten Subnetzen als auch für hohe Datenverkehrslasten im Backbone-Bereich prädestiniert. Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switches integrieren zwei Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports plus 16 Fast Ethernet-Ports für Kupfer und Glasfaser. Sie unterstützen alle gängigen Protokolle TCP/IP-basierter industrieller Netzwerke (z.B. Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP). Ein externes Speicher- und Konfigurationsmodul unterstützt den einfachen Austausch und die Wiederherstellung einer Switch-Konfiguration und sorgt somit für eine hohe Anlagenverfügbarkeit. Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switches besitzen folgende internationale Zulassungen und Konformitätsbescheinigungen: CE, FCC, UL/cUL Class I Div. 2 / Atex, DNV / GL.
