With the introduction of the new THM Plus S, 300 dpi thermal transfer printer Weidmüller now offers a printer with cutting and perforating options for its entire programme of labelling systems. It is now possible to print labels on a wide variety of materials and delivery formats – a range of options that applies to endless materials on rolls or fanfold, textile and polyester labels, shrink sleeves and PLC labels alike. The labels are reliably guided through the middle of the THS Plus S printer. Thanks to this central guidance system users are even able to print slim-sized strips and endless shrink sleeves without any difficulty. Compact by design the printer measures just 189 mm x 322 mm x 253 mm (hxdxw).

Cutting and perforating blades that simply snap onto the printer are optionally available. The cutting and perforating options make it possible to print endless strips of labels as well as endless shrink sleeves and at the same time perforate or cut off individual labels.

All users will be able to operate the printer intuitively – thanks to the generously dimensioned touchscreen display, which provides easily understood status indicators in different languages. The labelling software M-Print PRO has been specially tailored to the THM Plus S printer. A variety of practical functions are already implemented, for instance an input mask to configure endless strips of labels with various grid dimensions. When connected via USB the printer installs automatically by means of Plug and Play ID; in other words, no installation instructions whatsoever are required. Two additional USB ports mean it is possible to connect a separate keyboard or insert a service/memory stick. As is the case with the software M-Print Pro, the printer driver runs flawlessly under 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The THM Plus S thermal transfer printer is certified and approved in accordance with CE, CB/UL, FCC, CCC and GoST specifications.

The THM Plus S printer is designed for use in industrial companies operating in machine/systems engineering and electrical cabinet manufacturing services. With the THM Plus S it is also possible to print marker strips for terminal blocks – and cut them off to size in line with application requirements.
