The innovative speedline® service is an award-winning concept: a first-time entrant for the “German Service Award 2006”, speedline® reached the final, making it one of the top service offerings in the entire competition. The jury, constantly on the lookout for examples to confirm its philosophy that good service generates good business, was particularly impressed by alpha speedline®’s optimised process control.
The commendation “optimised process control” is by no means an empty slogan: for two years now, sales and central order processing have been merged into one as a precondition of the high speed that has proved so popular with many customers. A separate team has been set up to deal exclusively with speedline® orders. These are processed in record time – from the initial purchase order, which can be placed by telephone or online, through mounting to the final dispatch. Prompt service is guaranteed.
At the production shops in Igersheim-Harthausen, all speedline® orders are identified by a red stamp and specially designated workplaces. Every member of the alpha staff is thus able to recognise priority orders at a glance.

speedline® helps customers all over Europe operate even more flexibly. Ideas can be translated into action swiftly and decisions taken at short notice – for a variety of reasons – thanks to the alpha service. Customer warehouse costs are reduced because the gearheads are available without delay. A required gearhead can be installed more or less directly in the machinery or plant “just in time” as it is built.
