- EMO: WITTENSTEIN AG – Hall 25, Stand G 19
- MOTEK: WITTENSTEIN AG – Hall 9, Stand 9-121
WITTENSTEIN AG will exhibit at two autumn trade fairs later this year - the EMO (in Hanover, September 19 to 24) and the Motek (in Stuttgart, October 10 to 13). The Group will begin the exhibition season in Hanover with yet another typically innovative rack-and-pinion solution under the banner "3x1=one": the new RPM+ motor-gearhead unit is an actuator for the High Performance Linear System.
Controllable drive solutions from a single supplier
WITTENSTEIN AG will be represented in Hanover at the world's premier trade fair for metalworking technology through its two subsidiaries WITTENSTEIN alpha and WITTENSTEIN motion control. The exhibits - spanning the company's complete portfolio of mechatronic drive technology - will focus on the service and consulting expertise of these two internationally successful Business Units. Under the banner "3x1=one", WITTENSTEIN will help visitors to the fair understand and experience the meaning of power, dynamics and precision: Nikiferow (acrobalance duo, 10.30 a.m.), Erhard Götzelmann (Karateka, 1.30 p.m.) and Ronnie Baxter (darts player, from 4.30 p.m.) will give a fascinating daily demonstration of the three concepts live at the WAG stand.
Power, dynamics, precision: 3x1=one
What began at the Hanover Fair in April 2011 as a "revolution in linear drive technology" is about to be taken an important step further by WITTENSTEIN: WITTENSTEIN alpha's High Performance Linear Systems, on show at the HMI for the first time, can now be combined with the new RPM+ motor-gearhead unit in even more innovative rack-and-pinion solutions. This ingenious actuator from WITTENSTEIN motion control unites power, dynamics and precision and impresses with its compact, elegant design, improved tilting moments, increased positioning accuracy and unusual ease of assembly.
Perfectly adapted to linear applications with a pinion and rack, this latest motor variant combines peak performance and a functional design in one unit - leading to effective length savings and a more compact housing than ever. The outstanding performance level achieved by the RPM+ can be illustrated with a simple example: a mass of 300 kg is accelerated to 360 m/min in 0.3 seconds and positioned accurately to 5 µm.
The WITTENSTEIN Group at MOTEK 2011
WITTENSTEIN alpha will be accompanied by two other WAG subsidiaries at the world's leading trade fair for handling, assembly and automation technology in Stuttgart, where controllable drive solutions from a single supplier will be on show at a joint stand in Hall 9:
WITTENSTEIN motion control will present its complete range of electromechanical and mechatronic servo systems.
WITTENSTEIN cyber motor will showcase its powerful, low-cost industrial line series of AC servo motors.
WITTENSTEIN alpha will demonstrate its expertise in the field of controllable drive solutions by taking a special look this year at robotic systems. Gearheads and actuators (e.g. the TPM+ servo actuator) for highly-dynamic applications will be visualized with the help of a delta robot along with wash-down solutions mainly for the packaging industry and rack-and-pinion systems, including optimally matched gearheads for use in all sectors - from simple handling tasks to highly precise and / or dynamic applications. Since making its début back in the spring, the High Performance Linear System has set a new global standard.
In the Exhibitor Forum in Hall 9, experts from two Business Units of the WITTENSTEIN Group will give a talk on Monday, October 10, 2011:
- 3.30 p.m.: Gearheads and actuators in delta robots and other highly dynamic applications (WITTENSTEIN alpha, Sven Sanitz, Manager Sales Office South-East, Munich)
- 4.15 p.m.: Retractable synchronous servo motors made by WITTENSTEIN cyber motor (Stefan Frank and Kay-Uwe Dempewolf)
