Mit dem TERRA Mobile Home 1744 präsentiert die WORTMANN AG ab sofort einen mobilen Begleiter, der besonders geräuscharm ist. Der High Performance Desktopersatz für 719 Euro (UVP) ist mit einem Non Glare Display, Intel® Pentium Dual Core(TM)Prozessor und einem Arbeitsspeicher von 4 GByte DDR2 RAM ausgestattet.

Das TERRA MOBILE Home 1744 besitzt darüber hinaus eine 320 GByte S-ATA Festplatte sowie einen Dual Layer DVD-Brenner, und einen Cardreader. Darüber hinaus verfügt es über eine Webcam und eine Tastatur mit Ziffernblock. Neben dem Betriebssystem Micrososft Windows Vista Home Premium verfügt es über PowerDVD 7, NERO 7 und ist MS Office 2007 Ready.

Neben dem TERRA MOBILE Home 1744 sind auch die TERRA-Modelle 2300 und 4440 durch die Silent- Funktion überaus leise und energiesparende Notebooks. Im Silent-Mode verringert der Prozessor seine Taktfrequenz und reduziert dadurch seine Abwärme.
