Ab sofort bietet Würth Elektronik für alle Steckverbinder, Schalter & Taster 3D-Dateien zum Download an. Für alle Produktserien gibt es je drei unterschiedliche Download-Formate:

- .igs
- .stp (Step-Format)
- .wrl

Die 3D-Dateien können direkt auf der jeweiligen Seite im Online-Katalog heruntergeladen werden. Die Bereitstellung von 3D-Dateien erleichtert die Design-Arbeit erheblich. Pro Artikelreihe ist einen Referenzpolzahl verfügbar. Außerdem bietet Würth Elektronik eine Parametersuche für die schnelle und einfache Bauteileauswahl an.
