Würth Elektronik eiSos hat sein Board-to-Board-Steckverbinderportfolio erweitert. Unter der Bezeichnung WR-BTB bietet der Hersteller elektronischer und elektromechanischer Bauelemente ein breites Spektrum an Steckern und Buchsen. Beispiele für die neuen SMT-bestückbaren Konnektoren sind Stecker und Buchsen mit Kragen und Anfasung im 1,00-mm- und 0,80-mm-Raster.

Die robusten Steckverbinder sind auf 30 Steckzyklen ausgelegt und das Isolationsmaterial hat die Entflammbarkeitsklasse UL94 V-0 (zertifizierte UL-Zulassung E323964) sowie eine Betriebstemperatur von -55 °C bis +85 °C. Der Nennstrom der teilvergoldeten Kupferlegierungskontakte liegt bei 0,5 A, die Spannungsfestigkeit bei 500 V. Der Kontaktwiderstand beträgt lediglich 50 mΩ. Die Stecker im 1,00-mm-Raster sind in den Höhen 8,35 und 6,35 mm verfügbar, die dazu passenden Buchsen mit 10,30, 7,30 und 5,30 mm Höhe erhältlich. Bei den Steckern im 0,80-mm-Raster sind es 7,60, 5,60 und 4,60 mm. Die Gegenstücke haben Höhen von 11,75, 7,75 und 3,75 mm. Alle Bauteile der WR-BTB-Serie bieten zudem eine Vielzahl verschiedener Polzahlen.
