The center stand protection plate
The center stand protection plate provides reliable protection for the center stand, exhaust outlet and the swing arm mounting. In combination with the matching engine protection „EXTREME“, all technical components between front and rear wheel are protected against mechanical stress such as impact or stone chipping. In addition, in the event of a contact with the ground, the machine can slide over the entire protective surface until the rear wheel regains grip. In this way, the underside of the motor and gearbox are perfectly protected. The danger of getting stuck or levering out is reduced. Wunderlich achieves the high mechanical stability of the center stand protection plate by using high-strength, corrosion-resistant aluminum with a material thickness of 4 mm. The form-fit mounting on the main stand provides additional stability and secure hold. The main stand protection is black anodized to match the »EXTREME« motor protection. The integrated design of the center stand protection plate is functional: Cut-outs allow water which has been collected during river crossings to drain off freely.
