The DDS are a research project aiming to edit key documents on Swiss foreign relations. The editors provide researchers and practitioners with official sources in printed and digitized form which are necessary to reconstruct and gain an understanding of the history of Swiss foreign policy.
“Xeditor will enable our research center to migrate the production of our printed volumes to a XML/TEI based model, using a fully web-based toolset. The clean and familiar user interface will allow our researchers to leverage the complexity of the underlying structure while focusing on their scientific and historical work. Xeditor is also quite modular, which allowed us to integrate it easily into our existing back office infrastructure.” Maurizio Rossi, CTO, DDS.
“We are very excited to announce our new client DDS. We welcome the opportunity to support the academic community interested in archiving structured content for research, teaching, and historical preservation”. Anthony Apodaca, Business Development Executive, Xeditor.
Xeditor, the web-based WYSIWYG editor, allows authors to create and edit XML documents intuitively without any technical knowledge. Xeditor effortlessly integrates into into other pre-existing systems (CMS, PIM, etc.) and is fully customizable.
