Zudem hat sich Yapital in der kurzen Zeit seines Markteintritts als äußerst innovationsfreudig erwiesen, das zeigt auch eine der jüngsten Ankündigungen: Als erstes europäische Payment arbeitet Yapital mit der sogenannten BLE-Technologie. BLE steht für "Bluetooth Low Energy" und dient als sichere Funkverbindung zwischen dem Smartphone und dem Point of Sale. Dadurch können Kunden auch dort bequem mit ihrer Yapital-App zahlen, wo es kein Mobilfunknetz gibt - etwa in Geschäftslagen im Untergeschoss oder in manchen Einkaufszentren.
