With the E-MAXI series, ZAGRO offers a wide range of battery-driven railcar movers for 100 to 2000 tons trailer load. Thanks to variable modules, it is possible to configure the adequate vehicle for nearly every application. Different battery capacities of 320 to 2000 Ah, various coupling systems with height adaptation, wagon brake systems, track gauges from 1000 to 1676 mm and many more components are combinable on one and the same basic chassis.
The ZAGRO E-MAXI VARIO presented at the exhibition is equipped with a wagon brake system and designed for 850 tons trailer load. Thanks to its patented all-wheel drive, it is possible to manoeuver and turn on narrow space. The safe and easy control by radio remote control device ensures quick but nevertheless comfortable working in one-man operation.
ZAGRO, who was awarded as Mercedes-Benz Unimog ExpertPartner, shows their Unimog U423 road rail shunting vehicle for 800 tons trailer load. The Unimog is equipped with wagon brake system, signalling and warning system (EBO), radio remote control for rail operation, driver safety switch, safety control as per EN 50128, automatic coupling bar with dampening for UIC coupling system and pneumatic footholds. The shunting vehicle is approved according to § 32 of the Railway Construction and Operations Act (EBO), so it is authorised for use on the public railway network.
The TERBERG/ZAGRO road rail tractor, developed on the basic truck TERBERG RR282 6x4, is designed to push and pull maximum 2800 tons load. The vehicle is equipped with ZAGRO rail guidance system for track gauge 1435 mm. The heavy road rail shunter impresses by its manoeuvrability and tractive power. It is approved by EBO as well.
