New software options for efficient communication in the OR
With Enhanced Screw Visualization1 and Enhanced Vessel Visualization1, Ziehm Imaging introduces two new software features that provide clinicians with more clarity through color coding of screws and vessels. Enhanced Screw Visualization allows diverse colored display of different screws in the clinical 3D image, making it easier to distinguish these implants and optimizing communication of the surgical team during complex procedures. In vascular surgery, the automatic color display of vessels using Enhanced Vessel Visualization helps to precisely define the vessel outlines and the side branches. Both options as well as an improved measurement function1 for the precise measurement of distances, angles and vessel lumen are composed in a new extensive software package.
Mobile cath lab for cost-efficient treatment of coronary diseases
Based on Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition2, the powerful fully motorized C-arm for cardiovascular interventions, Ziehm Imaging showcases a mobile cath lab for the first time. In addition to the versatile C-arm, the concept consists of a ceiling-mounted display and a hemodynamic measuring station that monitors and documents the patient's vital functions. The compact mobile solution is a cost-efficient alternative to conventional cath labs with fix installed X-ray systems. The high detector resolution and the powerful 25 kW monoblock generator allow for an outstanding display of angiograms.
Robotic-guided surgery with 3D imaging
The proven NaviPort interface connects the mobile 3D C-arm Ziehm Vision RFD 3D with navigation systems of leading manufacturers. Furthermore, NaviPort is now also available for robotic-guided systems. Together with ExcelsiusGPS from Globus Medical and Rosa One Spine from Zimmer Biomet, Ziehm Imaging now supports robotic-guided spine surgery, enabling precise positioning of surgical instruments through intraoperative planning for minimally invasive and open surgery.
First mini C-arm family for pediatric imaging
With the Orthoscan TAU systems, Ziehm Imaging is first on the market to present mini C-arms approved for pediatrics. Thanks to an intelligent dose concept with an optimized dose filter, systems of the TAU family can not only be used in adult hand and foot surgery, but are now also suitable for intraoperative monitoring of pediatric procedures. Besides Orthoscan TAU 1512, the standard version with a 15 cm x 12 cm detector, the new product family includes two premium categories: Orthoscan TAU 1515 (15 cm x 15 cm detector) and TAU 2020 (20 cm x 20 cm detector) not only have the largest detectors on the mini C-arm market, but are also the only systems offering pulsed fluoroscopy. Ziehm Imaging is the official Sales and Service representative for all products of its subsidiary Orthoscan in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
