The pump manufacturer ZUWA-Zumpe introduces new members to its sewage pump line: the new pump series SUPERSAND for draining foundation ditches, flooded basements, tunnels and galleries. These pumps are perfect for transporting mud and sandy water what makes them particularly suited for applications on constrution sites.
Pump housing and shaft of SUPERSAND are constructed of stainless steel. The multichannel impeller of cast iron and chrome with a hardness of RC 60 is highly abrasion resistant. The passage of water through a double pump casing prevents the motor from overheating and thus allows for pump operation also at low water level.
SUPERSAND Pumps can be run in a submersion depth of maximum 10 metres. The flow rate - depending on type - goes up to 750 litres per minute. The maximum density of pumped media is 1100 kg/m².
