At the Achema in Frankfurt the pump manufacturer ZUWA-Zumpe GmbH will present the new impeller pump UNISTAR 2000-C. The new pump is a further development of the series UNISTAR 2000-A and UNISTAR 2000-B and features a higher flow rate than the two other versions, in fact 90 litres/minute.
UNISTAR 2000-C with aluminium casing offers an economic alternative to the stainless steel pump NIROSTAR 2000-C providing nearly the same capacity.
Pumps of the UNISTAR series can be used for multiple applications. They are suitable for water, heat transfer media, oils, diesel fuel and detergents. The higher flow rate makes UNISTAR 2000-C perfect also for draining and cleaning tanks. All ZUWA impeller pumps are dry self-priming and very easy to maintain. Due to the flexible impeller wheels they are insensitive to solid particles in the fluid and are capable of delivering even highly viscous media.
UNISTAR 2000-C is equipped with an AC motor with clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation as standard. Thus the pump can transport liquids in both directions. The power output of UNISTAR 2000-C is specified with 0,75 kW, the working pressure with 4 bar maximum. The pump's inlet and outlet thread have a size of 11/4".
