TÜV Süd has recently certified ZUWA's implementation of a quality management system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Five months of preparation for the Audit meant a lot of extra effort for management as well as staff. All processes in production, administration and distribution were analyzed and checked for improvement potentials.
Managing director Helmut Wimmer says: "Primarily we wanted to know where we stand, avoiding a lack of objectivity and encrusted structures. Our customers are highly satisfied with the quality of our products, which is a good basis, but we permanently want to improve product and service."
