After installation solar thermal collectors need to be cleaned and filled with heat transfer fluid. It is of mayor importance for a perfect performance of the solar system that absolutely no air remains inside the collector loops as enclosed air bubbles may reduce the output of the collector by up to 10%. The job is done fast and professional by using the right charging station. A high flow rate combined with sufficient pressure washes out air bubbles completely during the flushing process.
ZUWA's stations provide a flow rate of 30 litres per minute at a pressure of maximum 5 bars. Fluids with a temperature of up to 90° C can be handled.
The smallest solar charging pump is a drill driven impeller pump, ready to use in seconds and ideal when a quick refill on a collector needs to be done. This drill pump can be used for many other fluids like oil, diesel or water as well.
The mid size version, a dry self priming pump with electric motor, offers a lot of useful equipment. The pump is mounted on a carrier with rubber buffers - transport is very comfortable. A filter covered by a transparent cup takes care for stains in the fluid and makes air bubbles visible.
ZUWA's high end device, the Solarcheck Mobilcenter, is available in various executions. Pump, filter and glycol tank are mounted on a manoeuvrable trolley. Temperature resistant hoses and sealed fittings complete the station. The units are sturdy, adapted to the use on site and tight in any position, a big advantage during transport.
Only a few weeks ago the latest version of the Solarcheck Mobilcenter was presented - the KOMPAKT. A retractable handle makes the device smaller for comfortable transport, it can be carried single handed.
Intersolar visitors can take a look at the stations at the ZUWA booth in hall B1, # 119.
