4JET awarded significant order for tire machinery

Over 10 million EUR order from a Top 5 Tire Manufacturer / Strong growth in 2022 and further job creation

(PresseBox) (Alsdorf, )
The 4JET Group (Alsdorf, Germany) has received new orders worth a total of over EUR 10 million from one of the world's leading tire manufacturers. The machines will be delivered to several of the customer's production sites in North America, Europe and Asia in 2022 and 2023.

The agreement covers laser systems for marking tires with machine-readable QR codes or logos, mold cleaning, and gluing preparation for e-mobility tires.

The company expects sales growth of around 15% in the current fiscal year, up from around 10% in fiscal 2021, due to continued strong order intake across all product lines. As a result, up to 25 additional positions will be added by the end of the year.

"We are pleased to support important trends in the tire industry with our technology-leading systems: Traceability, emission reduction and tires for electromobility are hardly feasible without laser processes" comments Robert Hillmann, Head of the Tire Business Unit, on the new orders.

4JET is the market leader in laser material processing of tires and counts almost all of the global top 15 manufacturers among its customers. Through subsidiaries in Atlanta (USA) and Shanghai (China), 4JET offers local support in sales and service even during the pandemic travel restrictions. The development of the systems takes place at the company's site in Germany, where it employs around 150 experts and develops laser machines for the processing of solar cells, displays and automotive glass, as well as other solutions for surface technology.
