Thermal Mass Flow Measurement
The device CETATEST 615 is used with an external reservoir volume which is filled and used as pressure reservoir. The flow of test air from the previously filled reservoir volume allows leakage detection without the disturbing effects of a regulation process.
The mass flow value is measured by a thermal mass flow sensor. The measured value is given in a standard unit and the user can determine the necessary reference conditions. Temperature effects are automatically compensated. An electronic pressure regulator is used to set the different filling pressures of the reservoir.
Fully Automatic Leak Test
The leak-testing process of the device CETATEST 615 is fully automatically controlled by a realtime microcontroller with 16 bit μC / 40 MHz, including logging and analysis of measured values. The filling pressure of the reservoir is automatically calculated according to the reservoir/test volume ratio.
The new mass flow leak tester can be equipped with a large number of industrial interfaces and will be presented to the public at the International Trade Fair for Automation in Production and Assembly, MOTEK 2017 in Stuttgart, 9-12 October 2017, hall 3, stand 3320.
