„MINT4YOU – girls just wanna have science“ - mit dieser Veranstaltung am 13. Juli im Dynamikum Pirmasens will die Hochschule Kaiserslautern gemeinsam mit weiteren Partnern aus Bildung und Wirtschaft junge Frauen für Naturwissenschaft und Technik begeistern und für ein Studium oder eine Ausbildung im MINT-Bereich gewinnen.

Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Mädchen der Klassenstufen 8 bis 13. Unter dem Motto: „MINT – entdecken, erleben, anfassen!“ bietet der MI(N)Tmachkongress für Schülerinnen einen Tag voller Experimente, Kreativität und Spaß in spannenden Workshops. Zur Begrüßung hat sich die rheinland-pfälzische Bildungsministerin Stefanie Hubig angemeldet. Die Veranstaltung findet im Rahmen des vom BMBF geförderten Projekt MINT-Region Westpfalz statt.

Hochschule Kaiserslautern

Die Hochschule Kaiserslautern ist eine Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (HAW) mit fachlicher Fokussierung auf Technik, Wirtschaft, Gestaltung und Gesundheit sowie Informatik als integrierender Querschnittskompetenz. Wir bilden etwa 6200 Studierende in über 50 Studiengängen und Weiterbildungsangeboten mit ca. 550 Mitarbeitenden und ca. 150 Lehrenden an drei Studienorten in Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens und Zweibrücken aus.
