In order to be able to offer its customers further measurement quantities, the esz AG is breaking new ground and cooperating with the microphone manufacturer Microtech Gefell.
Microtech Gefell manufactures high-quality microphone capsules and condenser microphones for audio and measurement applications.
The beginnings of measurement applications date back to 1937, when the Rel mph 9 Tz 20 capsule, also known as the "railway capsule", was manufactured for a Siemens & Halske measurement microphone.
Today's services include not only microphone production but also the calibration of microphones in the company's own DAkks-laboratory.
The company is accredited for acoustic measurands as well as for the mechanical measurand "acceleration" according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
The cooperation between esz AG calibration & metrology and Microtech Gefell provides for accredited calibrations of these measurands to be carried out at Microtech in Gefell, on behalf of esz AG.
The two cooperation partners want to examine how they can use the esz software solution "calibration expert" for this purpose. This would ensure seamless integration and documentation in esz AG's quality management. The esz software "calibration expert "supports calibration technicians, engineers and metrologists in the calibration and creation or handling of calibration certificates.
