The Tentamus IT department designs, develops and implements the laboratory information system (LIMS) for our more than 65 laboratories worldwide.
According to ISO/IEC 17025 (accreditation standard for laboratory analysis), internal service providers must be qualified. The IT department of the Tentamus Group met this requirement by successfully completing the globally recognized ISO 9001 certification.
The specially developed LIMS system for all laboratories within the group, maps all processes within a laboratory in digitalized form.
All processes can now be tracked digitally, from offer request, sample receipt, distribution to the various departments such as microbiology, chemistry, special analytics such as pesticide analysis or physical parameters, to reporting and invoicing. This also includes automated interfaces for analytical instruments and scales to exclude human transmission errors.
“We are delighted about the successful completion of the certification process! The certificate not only optimizes our internal processes, but also strengthens the relationship of trust with our customers and partners. We are very proud of the excellent work of our IT department”, explains Hagar Gal, Head of IT at Tentamus Analytics GmbH.
In addition, further requirements from ISO/IEC 17025 are fulfilled, such as the correct use of the Dakks logo, which may only appear on the test report accredited test procedures.
